Six Items for the 2023 Autumn/Winter Exclusive Collection

HIGH! STANDARD, which pursues American basics with a focus on workwear, military, sports, and outdoor styles, has released a bespoke collection with MT.RAINIER DESIGN, a brand offering a wide range of items from highly functional wear to gear incorporating outdoor elements.

High-Function Exclusive Models for Town and Outdoors

A collection created by HIGH! STANDARD, which pursues American basics, in collaboration with MT.RAINIER DESIGN has been released. The lineup includes a mountain parka and bags made with the "SIXTY FORTY FABRIC," highly popular among outdoor enthusiasts, the "CASCADE" series featuring fleece material named after the Cascade Mountains in the American West Coast, and puff jackets made with the wind-resistant "WINDSHED" material, offering items suitable for a wide range of uses from outdoor activities to daily town wear.
The "60/40 Classic Mountain Parka" is based on a classic design from the early 1970s, updated for contemporary wear.

Naturally, the material used is MT.RAINIER DESIGN's signature "SIXTY FORTY FABRIC." Developed in the U.S. in the 1960s, this fabric is a blend of 60% cotton and 40% nylon. It has the characteristic of expanding when wet to become dense and water-repellent, and contracting when dry to release moisture. It also boasts excellent moisture permeability and waterproofing, being more breathable than water vapor yet smaller than water droplets, allowing sweat to escape while preventing rain from penetrating. Another feature is its ability to develop a richer texture with continued wear.

In the bespoke model, the drawstring typically found at the waist has been moved to the hem, creating a more contemporary and wind-resistant design. The hood's pattern has been altered to be more three-dimensional and deeper for enhanced waterproofing.

The spacious front pockets and an internal pocket large enough for A4-sized items significantly increase storage capacity. Furthermore, details such as the placement of the front snaps and pockets have been meticulously refined.
The "Cascade Fleece Jacket" uses a fleece material named after the Cascade Mountains, home to Mount Rainier in Washington State on the northern part of the U.S. West Coast.
The outer shell is made of anti-pilling fleece material, which is lightweight yet offers enhanced warmth due to its double-sided brushing. The lining uses a brushed mesh material that is soft to the touch, providing excellent warmth and static resistance.
Furthermore, the "WINDSHED" material, woven densely with nylon yarn known for its strength comparable to that used in airbags and high durability, provides excellent wind resistance, breathability, and quick-drying properties, enhancing both durability and design. Ventilation zippers under the arms allow for temperature regulation.
The "Cascade Fleece Pants" feature a moderately wide silhouette, with darts at the knees enhancing mobility and serving as a design element.
The hem is equipped with drawstrings for easy silhouette adjustment. The waistband and hem are made with durable "WINDSHED" material, and it is recommended to wear them as a set with the "Cascade Fleece Jacket."
The "Guide Puff Jacket" is a model made with the high-density nylon material "WINDSHED." It features a thin layer of padding in the lining, offering a sleek silhouette while providing excellent warmth.

The front features four large pockets for ample storage, making it a practical garment.
The "60/40 Wing Pocket Backpack" is a backpack with a main compartment divided into two sections, top and bottom. By opening the dividing zipper, it can also be used as a single large compartment.

It also boasts excellent functionality, with bungee cords for securing jackets or blankets and side pockets capable of holding 500ml bottles. The material used is "SIXTY FORTY FABRIC," a classic outdoor material that develops a richer texture and ages beautifully with use.
The "60/40 3D Shoulder Bag" is a shoulder bag characterized by its three-dimensional design. Its shape enhances fit to the body, and it can be securely fastened with a waist strap. Pockets of varying capacities allow for easy organization of belongings, with two pockets also located on the back. An internal key strap and a D-ring for attaching keys are included, making it a practical shoulder bag for daily use.
