The popular "Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%" marathon shoe has been updated and reborn as the "Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%."



At the time of the "Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%" release, it was found to improve running efficiency by an average of 4% compared to the "Nike Zoom Streak 6," previously considered Nike's fastest shoe. (NSRL study)

The upgrade to the "Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%" is named with the word "NEXT%," signifying the expectation of running faster to the finish line with each new race.



Responding to athlete comments about shoes becoming heavy in wet conditions, VaporWeave is used in the upper for the first time. This material is lightweight, breathable, and absorbs less moisture from sweat or rain, maintaining a dry feel and good ventilation during runs.

Furthermore, the foam has been increased by 15% while maintaining the same weight. The placement has also been revised, reducing the offset from 11mm to 8mm to enhance stability and maximize energy return at toe-off.




Details such as the traction pattern and outsole have also been changed, providing excellent grip even in wet conditions. With these improvements, this model is claimed to be Nike's fastest shoe ever.
