Concept: The "Interplay" of Function and Texture
The brand's concept is to create "a cherished garment that integrates into one's own lifestyle." Focus on Lightweight Trench Coats with Rich Texture, Made from Special Nylon
—What is the theme/concept for the 2013 Spring/Summer collection?
It's "INTERACTION."
—Please tell us more about the theme/concept.
We express the interactions shared across environments and fields, from the grand scale of sky and earth, sea and land, to everyday matters. This season's collection features items using Ventile cotton, a natural material with waterproof properties, and a tailored series crafted from MINOTAUR's original lightweight nylon that possesses a rich texture, all produced with the concept of the interplay between function and texture.
—What are the key looks (coordinations)?
Wearing coats and sets as relaxed wear.
—What are the key items?
A lightweight trench coat with a rich texture, made from a special nylon developed through proprietary processing that gives it a natural, material-like feel. It's a versatile coat that can be coordinated with everything from suits to shorts.
—What are the key colors?
The blue is a transfer print of Belize's World Heritage coral reefs, captured by the high-precision PRISM sensor aboard JAXA's satellite "Daichi," a source of Japanese pride. This print is featured on deck parkas.

We pour our thoughts into crafting each piece, aiming for it to become "a cherished garment that integrates into one's own lifestyle," which is the brand's concept.
