Leveraging the Appeal of Fashion Watches

Founded in Antwerp, Belgium in 2009 by Raf Maes and Anton Janssens, KOMONO is an accessories brand specializing in unisex watches and eyewear.

The brand name, KOMONO, is inspired by the Japanese word for "small items." It officially launched in Japan in 2016, and in November 2017, opened its first flagship store in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Following the Harajuku store, new locations have opened within SHIPS JET BLUE stores in Shibuya, Lumine Est Shinjuku, Yokohama JOINUS, and Namba Parks. SHIPS JET BLUE has undergone a renewal since the Spring/Summer 2018 season, with the theme "SONS OF STYLISH STANDARD." They have curated a selection of KOMONO items to complement their style, which blends traditional and natural modes.


The store design, unified with wood and iron, expresses KOMONO's worldview. Consistently stocking 40 watch models and 20 eyewear models, the brand also plans to announce new products and host events in the future.
