Osaka Store Exclusive Items

"MIHARA YASUHIRO" in Osaka's Horie district will reopen as "Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO".

This is the second flagship store in Japan for the collection line "Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO," following the Tokyo Omotesando store which opened in March 2016.

The new store, based on the Omotesando store's design, expresses an industrial space in a soft blue-gray. Designer Yasuhiro Mihara states that the colors, which are neither old nor new, should evoke both a sense of the past and the present.


The blue-gray paint on the stairs and doors of Mihara's own home inspired the store's color palette, reflecting his "everyday colors." The aim is for customers to experience the world of "Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO" as part of their daily lives.

To commemorate the Osaka store's reopening, two limited edition items will be released: Norwegian shoes and giant trekking shoes.


The Norwegian shoes are luxuriously hand-sewn, with even the most skilled cobblers able to produce only two pairs per day. Mihara himself has a strong attachment to these shoes, which are colored by hand, one pair at a time. The limited edition model features a Bordeaux color, available exclusively at the Osaka store, making it a truly special item.

The giant trekking shoes, on the other hand, are a staple of Mihara Yasuhiro's collection, featuring a 4cm heel and a 2cm platform with an inner sole. Inspired by walking aids used for leg injuries, they are designed for practicality, reducing strain on the feet during walking. This limited edition for the Osaka store comes in a khaki color.
