The Latest Eyewear Collection, Filled with the Designers' Ambition and Vision
DEROME BRENNER
France's 'DEROME BRENNER' garners attention not only from the eyewear industry but also from the fashion world. The sunglasses crafted by young French designers Xavier Derome and Aurélia Brenner are characterized by sophisticated designs infused with playful colors. The uniquely colored laminate fabric is original, and the dynamic, three-dimensional forms created by the latest cutting machines and skilled artisans' handiwork further enhance the fabric's allure. Recommended new colors include the 'Brazilian Color' with turquoise blue and yellow lamination, and a classic black accented with a refreshing aqua blue.
MICHEL HENAU
In 1980, designer Marc Delagrange opened his own shop, 'HUIS DELAGRANGE.' He met Michel Henau, who was active in Antwerp at the time, and began handling his collection, 'MICHEL HENAU.' Delagrange participated in promoting the brand as an advisor to Henau, and upon Henau's passing, he took over the brand. Since 1995, he has been developing his own collection under the name 'MICHEL HENAU.' The brand is noted for its high-quality eyewear, born from meticulous design work involving repeated prototyping and refinement based on classic designs. The petite collection is perfectly sized for those with smaller faces and women.
'MYKITA'
Introducing new pieces from 'MYKITA,' a brand known for its stylish collections featuring minimalist designs and unique details. The new two-tone, browline models combine small lens shapes with slender lines for an elegant finish. The new acetate frames showcase original, screwless hinges that add a refined sparkle to their simple lines, blending functionality with decoration. Furthermore, the 'LUXE' collection, the brand's first to use buffalo horn, features platinum plating on the metal parts, harmonizing with the fine texture of the natural material.
'ENa'
From the eyewear brand 'ENa,' comes a glasses holder created from the sketches of illustrator Yuko Yamamoto. The combination of different materials—acetate for the eyewear and a brass ring—along with the movable brass ring enhances both cuteness and decorative appeal.
'Arumamika'
The original collection 'Arumamika' is by the design unit 'Arumamika Design,' comprising Mika Imamura, the main designer who also works as an abstract artist, and her partner Shinichi Imamura. Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the brand's anniversary collection features a touch of retro charm and exquisite sizing, enhanced with pop elements not seen before, making it highly compatible with current trends. It's a brand to watch for its unique worldview and distinctive character.
