Pitti Special Guest: 27-year-old Thomas Tait
Regarding this decision, Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine Uomo, stated, "In Jeremy Scott's collections, we see a burst of humor and irreverence, mythology, and a skillful manipulation of pop iconography that are part of Franco Moschino's spirit and design, yet his own individuality also shines through. He possesses a special sensor for reading the times, particularly in his use of delicate materials and fabrics, because he designs luxury goods. That is why we invited him."
Furthermore, the special guest designer for womenswear is Canadian designer Thomas Tait, based in London. Tait, currently 27 years old, graduated from Central Saint Martins and won the LVMH Young Fashion Designers Prize in 2014.
Lapo Cianti, Pitti Immagine Uomo's Communication & Events Manager, commented, "Thomas Tait's womenswear collections, presented during London Fashion Week for the past few seasons, have become an unmissable event that garners significant attention."
