Alden's Tanker Boots 20th Anniversary Model Released

This is Dan Chiwaki from Lakota Inc., the sole importer of ALDEN. We are pleased to announce the completion of the 20th anniversary model of the "TANKER BOOTS," which Lakota first commissioned from Alden in 1995. The Lakota House Osaka store will offer a先行販売 (advance sale) on March 4th (Wednesday) to commemorate its first anniversary. The boots will be available at all authorized Alden retailers starting March 9th.

Focus on the New Chromexcel "Black" Leather

Last October, we featured the navy color of the Tanker Boots in OPENERS. This time, it's "black." More specifically, it's the 20th anniversary model crafted from the new Chromexcel leather that Alden adopted last year.

As Alden aficionados know, the Tanker Boots were first ordered by Lakota from Alden in 1995, using a military last, and the name "TANKER BOOTS" became a globally recognized term.

For this 20th anniversary model, the design and last remain identical to those from 20 years ago. The hand-sewn stitching and crepe sole are also unchanged, and will continue to be so in the future.

Boots You Can Wear Regardless of Trends

Chromexcel leather is durable enough for wear in any weather and develops a beautiful, elegant sheen with careful polishing. Even with minimal care, it develops a rich patina, making these boots a versatile choice that transcends trends, suitable for both suits and casual wear.

In addition to the brown and navy versions available in stores, the black model has arrived. This is a robust model that we highly recommend to fans of military lasts.
