This Spring/Summer's "JAPAN SPECIAL" is the "CHAPEL" model.
The "CHAPEL," one of JOHN LOBB's ready-to-wear flagship models, has been a resounding success since its 2006 debut. It's an elegant double-monk shoe on the 8000 last, characterised by its semi-square toe and long, flowing profile, making it a highly sought-after piece in the Prestige line. This spring, three suede versions of the CHAPEL, not typically available in Japan, are being introduced as a special Japanese exclusive for "JAPAN SPECIAL."

The "suede CHAPEL," a frequent request via special order, is now available.
The CHAPEL's signature design, which fluidly forms the upper from a single piece of leather, is a testament to JOHN LOBB's unparalleled creativity and craftsmanship.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, its exceptionally comfortable fit has earned it unwavering acclaim and a status as an undisputed masterpiece since its inception.
This "JAPAN SPECIAL" limited edition realises the "suede CHAPEL" that is so often requested through our bespoke service. The stitching is rendered in lighter shades like light grey or natural, and the buckle loops are crafted from a contrasting Misty Calf material. Furthermore, subtle yet distinctive touches, such as lining matching the loops in colour and material, add a unique originality.
The three suede uppers – Aubergine (purple), Dark Brown, and Midnight – are all popular colour choices for bespoke CHAPEL orders. With this JAPAN SPECIAL release, the added exclusivity of the detailing is welcome, but the true joy lies in being able to wear them immediately, without waiting for a custom order.
