2015 Marks the 45th Anniversary of the Superstar

Since its debut as a basketball shoe, the iconic adidas "Superstar" has been loved by generations and has become a staple in various subcultures. Known for being favored by iconic figures since its debut in 1969.

Like many other adidas archive models, the Superstar was originally manufactured in the Dettwiller area of Eastern France. Now, returning to its roots as "La marque aux 3 bandes" (the brand with the three stripes), adidas has collaborated with Ateliers Heschung, which produced French-made adidas shoes in the 1970s, to create the "Made in France" Consortium line.

The "Made in France" Vintage Logo Shines Brilliantly

The adidas Consortium Superstar "Made in France" features a crisp, white premium leather upper. Its distinctively shaped rubber toe cap is sewn using traditional handcrafting techniques.

To faithfully reproduce the original model, the heel tab, which is not embossed with the three stripes or brand name, uses smooth black leather. Vintage-inspired ivory leather is used from the shell toe to the outsole and soft leather lining.

Notably, the tongue features the vintage "Made in France" logo, a testament to the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship.
