MINASE, whose brand name originates from Minase in Akita Prefecture, where its workshop is located, possesses excellent tools, jigs, manufacturing know-how, and skilled craftspeople.

Aiming to "create watches that can be talked about for 100 years," MINASE's watches are born from unique challenges such as their patented "MORE structure" that allows all exterior parts to be disassembled, inspired by traditional Japanese kumiki (interlocking wooden puzzles), the "Zaratsu polishing" applied before case finishing, and the Case In Case structure. These watches beautifully embody the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship.

This collaboration with junhashimoto was realized through a shared appreciation for MINASE's manufacturing philosophy, inspired by "kumiki." The beauty of the case, achieved through MINASE's signature Zaratsu polishing that creates flawless, elegant surfaces, exudes a presence akin to fine jewelry.
