At Hankyu Men's Tokyo, on the B1 floor, "JOHN LOBB," the second department store location in Japan to feature a "J Lounge" style corner shop derived from the "JL" logo mark, and "SANTONI," its first shop-in-shop in Japan, have opened side-by-side. Luxury shoemakers coveted by the world's best-dressed individuals now compete here.

Santoni Features Limited Edition Models for Hankyu Men's Tokyo
Santoni was founded in 1977 by Andrea Santoni, a shoemaker from the Marche region of Italy. While adhering to the principle of "Fatto a Mano" (handmade) and upholding traditional craftsmanship, the brand is also renowned for its hand-painting techniques and distinctive designs.
Furthermore, the shoes are meticulously crafted through a process involving twenty artisans, from the selection of raw materials, cutting, sewing, hand-dyeing, and finishing, to the final boxing. Each pair is characterized by an uncompromisingly high-quality finish.
To commemorate this new opening, Santoni presents boots in their signature style, featuring the popular "BORIS" last—a long-nosed, chisel-toed silhouette that remains slim overall. Two models, crafted from the finest "Old England" calf leather and the short-haired, supple "Robesciato" suede, offer a sharp yet elegant finish.
John Lobb Features Exclusive Colors Only at Hankyu Men's Tokyo
It takes approximately four weeks and 190 individual steps for artisans to craft a pair of John Lobb shoes. Each pair, born from exceptional craftsmanship, continues to captivate discerning gentlemen worldwide.
To mark the opening of this "J Lounge" style corner shop, a limited-edition "Red Museum Calf" colorway of the iconic "CITY II" straight-tip model has been released. This masterpiece, renowned for its modern and glamorous silhouette, features meticulously detailed gores, elegantly stitched from the quarter for a refined finish.
Additionally, exclusive to Hankyu Men's Tokyo are the "Brentwood" single monk strap shoes in the 2511 last, distinguished by their original buckle; the "Chelmsford," also in the 2511 last, offering a modern style with a beautifully designed toe; and the "Romsey II" with an Ashby sole, which is not available at John Lobb's directly managed stores. These are not to be missed.
In addition to the Hankyu Men's Tokyo exclusive color, the CITY II is also available in black, dark brown, and suede. Popular models, such as the "PHILIP II" from the Prestige line, which incorporates numerous elements of bespoke shoemaking, are also featured.
