Shinji Takeda, a Man with 6% Body Fat, Appears Clad in Black

HANKYU MEN'S TOKYO's interpretation of "URBAN RIDER" is a smart, active man who excels at both work and play – not a rugged biker, but a sophisticated individual with an active lifestyle. The image is of someone impeccably dressed in high-quality black leather items with a lustrous sheen.

Shinji Takeda, the man fitting this theme, appeared on the special stage set up on the first floor of HANKYU MEN'S TOKYO on the evening of August 22nd. As he arrived, the captivating and dynamic sound of his saxophone filled the air, instantly showcasing his overwhelming star presence.

The first song performed was "THE HITMAN," the theme song from his starring role in the 2009 film of the same name, "Kyo kara Hitman." The movie, a live-action adaptation of Hiroshi Mutou's popular comic series serialized in "Weekly Manga Goraku," is an action-comedy directed by Kenji Yokoi of "Nijiiro no Garasu." It depicts the life-or-death double life of a salaryman who unexpectedly inherits the name of the legendary hitman "Nicho." Shinji Takeda passionately portrayed the protagonist with his two distinct personas, and also composed, arranged, and performed the theme song.

After the performance, he engaged the audience with a witty remark, "Shall we begin?" sparking laughter. During the introduction of his latest book, "A Graceful Body is the Best Revenge" (published by Gentosha), an unexpected rock-paper-scissors tournament began, with one lucky man winning a signed copy.

Next, he performed "ENGINE" with the "CYBERJAPAN DANCERS," known for their beautiful and powerful dance performances at major clubs across Japan and throughout Asia. The audience was captivated by the flawless physique of Shinji Takeda, who defied his 42 years, his charming personality, and the energetic performance of the Cyberjapan Dancers.

Furthermore, in line with the "URBAN RIDER" theme, iconic "DUCATI" motorcycles were displayed at the first-floor entrance and throughout the various floors, highlighting the collaboration between fashion and automobiles. The event also featured a full-service authentic cafe by "Nespresso Dolce Gusto" on the seventh floor, along with a variety of beverage services, concluding successfully.

Additionally, on each floor of HANKYU MEN'S TOKYO, attendees could experience runway shows by top models showcasing the latest Fall/Winter 2014 collections, presentations from the new shop "3.1 Phillip Lim," order sessions, shoe care services, and photo shoots by professional photographers. The event culminated in an underwear fashion show, offering many fashion enthusiasts a chance to enjoy this unique and captivating one-night event.
