In December 2012, Orobianco unveiled its functional bag collection, "DESERTIKA." The name "DESERTIKA" means "From Desert" and has been adopted as the name for the menswear brand. The collection offers a wardrobe that combines toughness and functionality, capable of withstanding the harsh desert environment with its extreme temperature fluctuations.




The menswear brand "DESERTIKA" is based on the concept of Orobianco's bag collection, utilizing textiles from KANTIAN, the premier original textile brand from KAYTAY TEXINNO, a long-established manufacturer in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, that has preserved the history of rayon and synthetic fibers. The textiles, born from a fusion of technologies and knowledge cultivated for sports, are skillfully designed with a sophisticated fashion sense.

The theme for the debut season is "Neo Urban Re-mix"

The first collection, created by blending new textiles with timeless menswear designs, is themed "Neo Urban Re-mix." It features items that combine functionality such as complete waterproofing, windproofing, heat retention, and heat generation, primarily using stretch polyester yarns.

The design emphasizes beautiful, body-fitting details, with a lightweight feel that belies the typical heaviness of autumn and winter wear. Its sporty essence, emanating a modern impression, creates an urban mood.
