MEN IN GUCCI SUITS with TOMOKI SUKEZANE
Introducing Gucci suits for Autumn/Winter 2008-2009. We thoroughly present three styles—New Manhattan, Tribeca, and Signoria—through our photo gallery and movie features. Both were shot by TAKAKI_KUMADA, with styling directed by Tomoki Sukezane.
Tomoki Sukezane's history with tailoring is surprisingly long and profound. It began on London's Savile Row, extending to the sartorias of Milan and Naples, and the couturiers of Paris. More recently, he has commissioned bespoke suits from fashion designers in New York. Notably, his home features a dedicated closet for tailored suits, separate from his collection of high-fashion items. His dedication to suiting is truly exceptional.
Each Gucci suit is styled by suit authority Tomoki Sukezane. The shirts and ties chosen for each V-zone are selected to complement the lapels of each suit. The New Manhattan is paired with a semi-wide spread shirt featuring a high collar and a regimental tie. The Signoria and Tribeca are matched with clerical shirts and ties featuring the Gucci crest, an icon of the brand. The skinny trousers are cut quite short to showcase boots. The latest shoes and boots, from the line named KYOTO, are long-nosed. They are a perfect match for the suits, which exude a noble yet cutting-edge impression. Discover this world through the photo gallery and movie.
