"STAFFORD" is a popular shoe by request, but it is not currently in John Lobb's ready-to-wear lineup. This is because "CITY II" and "PHILLIP II" (both on the 7000 last) are overwhelmingly popular among John Lobb's Oxford shoes, leading to the discontinuation of STAFFORD over time.

Unlike other models, this season sees the return of the straight tip, characterized by its facing (the trim or lining stitched to the inner edge of the shoe opening) positioned on top, as a Japan-exclusive release.
