The third installment of the John Lobb "London Collections: Men" Spring Summer 2015 collection, held in London in June, introduced samples for John Lobb's unique "BY REQUEST" service. As BY REQUEST gains popularity worldwide, these samples were unveiled for the first time. We hope they serve as inspiration for your own orders.

John Lobb's "BY REQUEST" service allows customers to order from current models and past archive collections, enabling them to create their preferred shoe from approximately 150 styles. A significant appeal is that these orders are accepted year-round at both John Lobb directly managed stores and authorized retailers (both incur a 30% surcharge).

The "BY REQUEST Fair," an annual special event, has been instrumental in popularizing the BY REQUEST service. During this fair, customers can select their preferred materials, colors, and details from John Lobb's proposed styles, and even place custom orders for certain popular models that have been discontinued.

Furthermore, a key factor in its popularity is that during this once-a-year fair, the pattern order surcharge, which is normally 30% of the list price, is waived.

It remains undecided whether the BY REQUEST samples, unveiled for the first time at the "London Collections: Men" Spring Summer 2015 collection, will be available for year-round ordering or will be special models for the fair period. However, simply looking at the photographs conveys the new possibilities and appeal of pattern orders.
