First Look in Japan! European "Shop Specials"

Classic, yet brimming with twists and humor,John Lobb's New Original Film "Time’s The Charm"was the welcome at the presentation for John Lobb's 2015 Spring Summer collection. Here, we introduce the European shop specials, unveiled for the first time in Japan.

A One-Day Event on June 15th During the Collection

The venue for John Lobb's 2015 Spring Summer collection at London Collections: Men, held on June 15th, was "Elms Lesters," a long-established art gallery in central London. The space, spread over two floors near Leicester Square, featured film screenings on the first floor and divided rooms on the second.

To the right, six new shoes for Spring/Summer 2015 were displayed. To the left, a collection of shop specials—the European counterparts to the popular "Japan Limited Models"—and new made-to-order samples were arranged.

Look Forward to Next Spring's Japanese Shop Specials

Each of the European shop specials combines John Lobb's traditional craftsmanship and heritage, built on the principle of "crafting the perfect handmade pair," with new, modern designs.

Through material combinations, unlined construction, and elegant piping, they showcase an "innovative classic."

Regrettably, these are not currently scheduled for release in Japan, but it is fascinating to gain insight into European preferences.
