Craftsman On-Site This Weekend for "Weekend Workshop"

"WORK NOT WORK" is a fashion label by Simon Taylor, founder of the creative collective TOMATO, which has profoundly influenced the art, music, and fashion industries. The flagship store, KITTE Marunouchi, hosts this year's "HAT NOT HAT" exhibition, once again featuring the acclaimed young hat craftsman, Naoaki Sakaguchi, who was a highlight last year.

Sakaguchi trained under a master craftsman at a domestic hat atelier, learning the art of hat making. After working on custom hats and millinery for stage costumes, he launched his own original hat brand, "Saravah," in 2013.



During the "HAT NOT HAT" exhibition, Sakaguchi's curated hat collection will be on display and available for purchase, complemented by a dedicated "picture book" corner featuring titles related to hats. Furthermore, from July 19 (Saturday) to 21 (Monday), the craftsman himself will be present for a "Weekend Workshop."

Attendees can witness aspects of hat making, a process rarely seen, and receive advice on hat-related concerns.
