German footwear brand BIRKENSTOCK, with over 230 years of history, has launched its first-ever fully washable sandal, the "MADRID EVA MODEL." The sandals are now available at the brand's flagship stores.

BIRKENSTOCK has long been known for its comfortable footwear, crafted from materials like leather uppers, cork soles, and natural rubber or metal buckles. Now, the brand introduces the "EVA Madrid," a washable sandal made from EVA, a synthetic resin.

Leveraging the lightweight and soft properties of EVA, combined with plastic buckles, BIRKENSTOCK has achieved its first fully washable sandal.

Retaining BIRKENSTOCK's signature design aesthetic, these sandals also boast a more accessible price point compared to the traditional lineup, making them a highly attractive option.
