This time, they present four styles of the chukka type "Work Chukka," perfect for spring styling, in various materials and colors. Understanding and Wearing Leather

The "Work Chukka" released this time comes in four styles with variations in material and color. Each leather possesses different functional properties and textures, so we encourage you to select yours with an understanding of their unique characteristics.

Models No. 3137 and 3138 feature "ROUGH&TOUGH." This leather is also used in models No. 1907 and 9111, which have been available in Japan since 2006. Through a unique tumbling process, it achieves a texture that suggests years of wear.

Model No. 3149 uses "Mohave Leather." Sourced from the prime back and side sections of cowhide, this leather undergoes a special tanning process and approximately 13 hours of treatment to impart water resistance. By minimizing water absorption, it not only prevents water from penetrating the shoe's interior but also ensures the surface doesn't get wet, so the shoes don't become heavy even with prolonged use in rainy conditions. Simultaneously, it maintains high breathability, effectively releasing heat from the shoe's interior.

The "MULESKINNER" for No. 3145 is a durable rough-out leather, similar to Red Wing's standard "Abilene." Unlike Abilene, it is infused with oil during the re-tanning process. This oil gives the brushed surface a soft, supple texture. Model No. 3145 features Muleskinner in a deep orange hue named "Barton Orange."
