October 25th (Tuesday), "SAINTCRÉPIN'S DAY," the feast day of the patron saint of shoemakers, is fast approaching once again. In tribute to this revered figure, John Lobb releases its annual Year Model on this very day. The "John Lobb 2011" masterfully blends inspiration drawn from the roots of the classic "CITY" model with the distinctive curves of "BECKETTS," creating a beautiful harmony of tradition and modernity.

A Hybrid of the "CITY" Model's Tradition and "BECKETTS'" Modernity
This year, John Lobb's guiding principle for the Year Model is "the fusion of design with the inherent philosophy of the shoe itself."──"To know where your steps lead in life is to never forget the past."──This tenet also embodies the spirit of the John Lobb brand.
The "John Lobb 2011" is a cap-toe Oxford built on the 8000 last, a Prestige line model that evokes the craftsmanship of bespoke. It embodies the bespoke spirit of "perfect and elegant shoes" while being presented as a ready-to-wear piece.
The meticulously hand-sculpted beveled waist, the elegantly tapered heel that gradually narrows towards the toe, and the sole with its curved contact surface at the waist all contribute to an unparalleled sense of lightness and comfort.
Furthermore, a new suede color, "Prune Suede," makes its debut for this "John Lobb 2011." Its striking contrast with the delicate Pale Gray Museum Calf used for the lining is particularly noteworthy. The classic Dark Brown Suede is paired with a Bronze Lord Calf lining, the unique black of the Malbec Moonlight Calf is complemented by a Slate Lord Calf lining, and the popular Dark Brown Museum Calf features a Bronze Lord Calf lining. All linings offer a silky smooth touch and present distinctive combinations.

Event: JOHN LOBB WALKING BOUTIQUE at ISETAN
The "John Lobb Walking Boutique," showcasing John Lobb's world through a new concept exhibition, will be held in the B1 floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building starting October 19th (Wednesday).
The venue will feature a full line of products for display and sale, including shoes, belts, bags, and small leather goods. It will also exhibit a comprehensive collection of past Year Models, released annually on October 25th since 1996. Furthermore, pre-orders for the 2011 Year Model, "JOHN LOBB 2011," will be accepted.
