In 1963, Jim Whittaker, part of the American Everest expedition, became the first American to reach the summit of Mount Everest, supported by Eddie Bauer's innovative gear. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this historic achievement, Nigel Cabourn created a limited edition collection, with each style and color produced in a run of just 50 pieces, each numbered and signed.

The Karakoram mountain range, with over 60 peaks, lies in the remote heart of Eurasia. It is the world's most rugged, dangerous, and deadly terrain. Inspired by the Karakoram, the "Karakoram Parka" is based on the "KARAKORAM" gear provided to the American team that attempted the range in 1953. It is a fitting item for the final season.




The "Mount Everest Parka" is based on a reissue of the "Mount Everest Parka" worn by Jim Whittaker during his 1963 ascent of Everest, which went on sale in 1965. Nigel Cabourn presents this in a bi-color design, expertly translating the spirit of adventure into everyday wear.

The "Canadian Vest" is based on a hunting vest design. When this down vest was first released, it was praised as being "warmer than wearing ten sweatshirts."

The "US Down Clip Jacket" features a design that blends Eddie Bauer's iconic "SKYLINER" model with Nigel Cabourn's "US CLIP JACKET." The front is accented with US clips, metal fasteners adopted by the U.S. Navy, adding a distinctive point to the garment.

Based on military training shoes

The Nigel Cabourn × CONVERSE® "ALL STAR N-C HI" features specifications designed to withstand rigorous military training. The toe is reinforced, and the top eyelets have been changed to D-rings, similar to the vintage model it is based on.

The material used is Ventile, a super high-density cotton fabric from the UK. As its breathability is slightly lower than regular cotton, it features four ventilation points, two on the inside and two on the outside.
