Leather in Patina Hues, Captivating with Their Subtle Radiance
Berluti is progressively renewing its nine existing stores in Japan under a new concept, and on Wednesday, November 13th, the Ginza store will open. This three-floor establishment will feature ready-to-wear items on the first and second floors, with a bespoke salon for shoes and apparel on the third.
To celebrate this opening, a limited range of items will be produced exclusively for Dover Street Market Ginza. Expect a variety of leather goods, including bags, small leather accessories, and bi-color shoes, all finished with a special Patina technique that imparts a lustrous, rainbow-like hue. Additionally, the collection will include field jackets and five-pocket pants crafted from cotton-silk denim and cotton twill.
Alessandro Sartori, Berluti's Artistic Director, expressed his excitement: "I am truly thrilled by these limited-edition pieces. Dover Street Market Ginza is the ideal creative hub to unveil these special Patina colors."
Founded in Paris in 1895 by an Italian shoemaker, Berluti is a fashion house renowned for its total menswear collections that blend tradition with modernity. In 2011, Alessandro Sartori was appointed Artistic Director, expanding the brand into ready-to-wear. This year marks a significant global expansion, with plans to open over 20 new stores worldwide, including locations in Paris, New York, Shanghai, and Ginza.
