A Collaboration Born of Mutual Admiration

Based in Florence, Alabama, Billy Reid designs apparel and accessories that embody a modern take on American luxury, infused with a sophisticated Southern sensibility. The brand enjoys considerable popularity throughout the United States.

The connection between COACH and Billy Reid began at the 2010 Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund competition, where Reid was the grand prize winner, with COACH serving as a sponsor. "Billy's unique perspective, rooted in the South, brings a fresh energy to fashion," says Jeffrey Kahne, Senior Vice President of Men's Design at COACH. "His craftsmanship and dedication to quality and heritage align perfectly with the COACH ethos."

Reid, who had drawn inspiration for his own collections from COACH's archives, had long admired the brand. As an avid baseball fan, he felt a strong connection upon learning that COACH's founder was inspired by a love for well-worn baseball gloves.







The special collection features men's bags and accessories crafted from luxurious materials including pebbled leather, rugged suede, and exotic Southern alligator. Reid shared his thoughts on this collection:
