The loafer for those who don't wear loafers
When thinking of John Lobb loafers, one might recall the classic "LOPEZ," introduced in 1950, or the "CAMPUS 12" from last spring/summer. However, the newly arrived "EVESHAM" shares a similar silhouette to the popular slip-on "EDWARD."
Loafers are a type of slip-on shoe, characterized by a design that achieves a secure fit through the shape of the upper, without laces, straps, or buckles to tighten the opening. In Japan, where shoes are frequently removed and put on, they are a type of leather shoe supported by a wide range of people.
The "EVESHAM," offering a sense of freedom and casualness distinct from laced shoes, features a full lining and hand-sewn apron typical of UK craftsmanship. An elastic band beneath the tongue (at the top of the instep) ensures easy on and off.
Available in two colors, Black/Calf and Chestnut/Misty Calf, the Chestnut, shown here, is particularly recommended. It pairs well with any color of bottoms, exuding an elegant yet light and youthful appeal. Its charm lies in its comfort, surpassing previous loafers, and its simple design that allows you to appreciate the texture of the leather.
