Launch Event Held for Japan National Football Team's Official "Victory Suit"

On Thursday, May 30th,dunhillopened2013 Japan National Football Team Official "Victory Suit"to commemorate the release of the 2013 Japan National Football Team Official "Victory Suit." A one-day British pub was set up inside the dunhill Ginza flagship store. A launch event was held to watch the "Kirin Challenge Cup 2013: Japan vs. Bulgaria" match, which took place that day, alongside distinguished guests.

Watching the Match with Former Japan National Football Team Members

For 14 years, from 2000 to 2013, dunhill has consistently supported Japan's crucial moments. The venue showcased "victory suits" from the past decade, selected from the official Japan National Football Team suits that dunhill has created over the years.

The event unfolded in two parts. During the first part, held before the match, model Mayuko Kawakita, along with former Japan representatives Nobuhisa Yamada and Masashi Nakayama, who laid the foundation for Japanese football, appeared wearing dunhill's 2013 Japan National Football Team Official "Victory Suit." They instantly livened up the atmosphere before the match.

The second part featured a live broadcast of the match within the venue's private viewing area. The commentary team included former Japan National Football Team player Takashi Hirano and Cerezo Osaka player Ryuji Bando, with TV personality Rika Adachi serving as MC. Additionally, Yoshida Masaaki, who plays for Vitesse in the Dutch top league, also made an appearance.

Over 150 guests attended, and everyone present sent their cheers to the Japan National Team through the in-store private viewing. Although Japan narrowly lost the match against Bulgaria on the event day, they secured their ticket to the World Cup on June 4th (Tuesday) with a superb free-kick by Keisuke Honda in the final Asian qualifier against Australia. Following the match against Iraq, the Japan National Team's next game is on June 15th (June 16th Japan time). Their opponent will be Brazil, the host country of this World Cup.
