Protect your cherished shoes with a shoetree. To preserve their beautiful form for years to come.
The "William" was born in 1945 when the second generation of JOHN LOBB, William Lobb, created a bespoke order for the Duke of Windsor, drawing inspiration from aviator boots. Later, in 1982, when JOHN LOBB began manufacturing ready-to-wear shoes, this distinctive double monk strap shoe was produced as a ready-to-wear model at the Northampton factory in England.
Over 30 years have passed since then, and to honor the William, a perennial favorite and representative masterpiece of JOHN LOBB, an original shoetree has been created.
The William shoetree is shaped to the "9795" last, the specific last for the William model, and is crafted from solid lime wood, known for its excellent moisture-absorbing and releasing properties. Its pleasant aroma further enhances its value.
OPENERS readers will undoubtedly understand the necessity of a shoetree. For your own pair of Williams, we encourage you to acquire this original, proudly embossed piece and enjoy them for years to come.
