BOMBAY BAZAR
Yusuke“Bombay Bazar, located in the basement down the stairs next to Okra, opened in 1993, the same year as Okra. I realized it had been a while since I last ate their curry, so for this feature, I tried their classic Chicken Curry, a long-time favorite.
The Chicken Curry, which takes three days to prepare from the spice blending, has been a cornerstone of the menu since the restaurant first opened. The establishment itself is reportedly certified organic by "Leefers." They use Akita Komachi rice milled to 60% (four-tenths), and even make their own fukujinzuke pickles. What’s more, you can choose your portion size from S, M, or L depending on your hunger, which is a nice touch.
I savored it again after a long time, and it was perfectly portioned, spicy, and delicious. Thank you for the meal!”
Chicken Curry (S) ¥650, (M) ¥1000, (L) ¥1300 (Bombay Bazar 03-3461-8512)
