Matte Black x Mirage Series Arrives!

The new store, "HEAD PORTER TOKYO," which is both standard and mindful of the times, offers not only new bags in spring and summer colorways but also the spring/summer collection from the apparel line "HEAD PORTER PLUS," which upholds the total concept of "SIMPLE & GOOD QUALITY." Now, the latest creations from "fragment design × HEAD PORTER" are set to debut, combining two of HEAD PORTER's signature series, familiar from collaborations with fragment design.

This collaboration utilizes "BLACK BEAUTY" as its base – a high-density nylon material with a matte, non-glossy finish, unified in all black down to the tags, parts, and interior lining. Furthermore, it effectively combines this with "MIRAGE," created using high-density nylon taffeta and coated with multiple layers of transparent, glossy urethane on the surface to achieve an enamel-like sheen. At first glance, the two textures might seem incompatible, but their deliberate fusion enhances the design's aesthetic appeal.

Functionality and Stylish Design Merge Perfectly

MIRAGE refers to a "mirage seen at high speeds, an illusion that doesn't actually exist," and it appears like droplets floating within the matte black (BLACK BEAUTY). In contrast, the black and white colorway evokes the image of light emerging from darkness. Attention to detail is evident in the white colorway as well, where the parts are designed to accentuate this contrast.
