vol.38 "Spring Hoodie" TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.
Following last autumn's feature on colorful nylon hoodies, the popularity of the item continues this season. While it's a piece that will be very useful for spring styling, a certain detail seems to be the key to choosing the most contemporary ones.

Sukezane says, “One hoodie features a photo print from the grunge scene of the 90s, shot by photographer Charles Peterson, while the other is a nylon hoodie with an extremely small print of a moon and stars, and musical notes, hand-drawn by Oscar, a boy living in Paris. The drawcords are printed with Charles Peterson's name and the title of his photo book.
His style of incorporating music and fashion icons that influenced him, and personal relationships with his young friends into his items, remains strong. These pieces, with their meticulously crafted details, truly exude Miyashita-kun's signature style. I think they're wonderful.
Although I unfortunately couldn't make it to the Paris Men's Collection in January, which was his first in 10 years, I've heard the show was very well-received. In recent years, fewer and fewer Tokyo brands are challenging themselves in Paris. I hope Miyashita-kun continues to push forward. I'm cheering him on!”
