LANVIN
Lanvin, a maison with the longest history in France, established its men's division in 1926. Inheriting the tradition and techniques of its bespoke tailoring, known as "tailleur," the made-to-measure service, incorporating contemporary trends, is available at the salon on the first basement floor of the Lanvin Boutique Ginza store in Tokyo. Lanvin suits are characterized by a slightly slim and beautiful silhouette, influenced by women's couture. Based on three lines—the "Sartoria Line" with its soft construction, the French classic "Atelier Line," and the slim, modern "Profile Line" (worn by Editor Yusuke)—customers can choose their preferred style and fabric, followed by measurements. With tailors on-site, detailed consultations are readily available. Completion takes approximately six weeks. Upon completion, a special tag, inspired by the address of Lanvin's men's atelier in Paris, "LANVIN 15 Faubourg," is sewn into the jacket lining.
