The volume of combat soles and rubber-soled boots complements oversized coats and wide pants. They might not be as easy to walk in as sneakers, but the moderate weight of boots is perfect for city strolls. As thicker outerwear becomes essential, boots will likely see much more wear.
After all, boots are an indispensable must-have in men's fashion. Though I've never counted, as a boot enthusiast, I must have well over 100 pairs, from dressy to casual styles. Yet, I still find myself wanting new ones – it’s a problem! (laughs)”
