Currently, the much-anticipated"BY REQUEST" Fair is underwayat John Lobb. The ultimate expression of the brand's footwear—John Lobb's bespoke order event will be held with Master Last Maker François Madignini from the Paris atelier. It takes place on March 15th (Fri.) and 16th (Sat.) at John Lobb Marunouchi, and on March 17th (Sun.) at John Lobb Hilton Plaza.

Embark on a "Shoe Making Journey" with François by Appointment Only

Full bespoke shoes, the origin of John Lobb, are known as "Bespoke" or "Made to Measure." The brand boasts over 150 years of history and tradition since its founding in 1858. The shoes are crafted using meticulously selected, highest-quality materials and the skills and techniques of master artisans. There is no compromise in the pursuit of beautiful forms, and John Lobb continues to reign at the pinnacle of gentlemen's shoemakers worldwide.

John Lobb's bespoke order event is by appointment only. Foot measurements are taken, and designs and materials are selected through consultation with the artisan. After a fitting and adjustment with a trial shoe developed by John Lobb for basted fittings four months later, the shoes are completed eight months after the order is placed.

Speaking of John Lobb's "WILLIAM," it is a masterpiece double monk strap shoe born in 1945, representing the brand. This "boot" version can be specially ordered at this bespoke event.

The bespoke "WILLIAM BOOT" uses durable, thick, and heavy-weight yet soft and supple high-grade grain leather. It features a warm fur lining inside and is meticulously finished with a Norwegian welt, crafted by hand. This Norwegian welt, developed at John Lobb's bespoke atelier for their first ski boots, offers high waterproofing and was used for leather ski boots until the 1960s.
