Harajuku "HEAD PORTER TOKYO" Reopens After Renovation
HEAD PORTER, a brand that has produced numerous items with original textiles and designs under the high technical skill of Yoshida Kaban, a historic Japanese bag manufacturer, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Long-Awaited New Arrivals in Navy for the TANKER Series
Head Porter opened its shop in Harajuku, Tokyo, as a bag brand in 1998. Since then, it has released various series with excellent functionality and design, such as special orders of "TANKER," the signature series of the "PORTER" brand, and "BLACK BEAUTY," characterized by its matte texture and all-black body, each release generating buzz.
The renovated new shop will feature all Head Porter products, as well as the apparel line "HEAD PORTER PLUS," which is based on the total concept of "SIMPLE & GOOD QUALITY."
The "TANKER STANDARD" released to commemorate this renovation utilizes a three-layer padded fabric called flight satin, inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket. Models selected from Porter's signature series are offered in Head Porter's special order navy color.
The rescue orange used for the interior provides a striking contrast to the deep navy, accentuating the design. Its soft texture, lightweight yet robust construction, makes it an eternal standard for everyday use. This time, new additions include a 3-way brief case, daypack, and camera bag.
