With the season for domestic travel and trips home for leisure and visits, Editor Demon King Tomoki Yusuke finds himself increasingly on the move. For short, two-day stays, he's firmly in the 'futen bag' camp. His ideal travel style, he says, is that of the person who cuts through the wind with a bag slung over their shoulder.

Yusuke“When it comes to travel products, the ‘MUJI to Go’ series from MUJI is not to be missed. The design and functionality are both superb, and I’m always impressed by how well-considered the details are.

Recently, I bought the largest size of their carry-on suitcase (104L) and the smaller carry-on size (19L). The double wheels are quiet, and the telescopic handle has 1cm increments for height adjustment. I also like the simple design, and above all, they are lightweight and very easy to use. And the affordable price is a big draw.”

Other items, such as the parachute cloth sorting cases for organizing clothes within the suitcase, and the hanging pouches for travel bathrooms, are simple and functional products that greatly contribute to making travel more comfortable.

I plan to use the extra-large suitcase for overseas business trips from autumn onwards. I’m looking forward to it being very useful.”
