Ameyoko Cruising

We kicked off this Ameyoko cruise, specially arranged for this feature, with a glass of milk at the milk stand outside the north exit of Okachimachi Station, alongside stylist Kohta Kawai.

We browsed items at nostalgic shops we used to frequent and new places we stumbled upon, did some shopping, and occasionally rehydrated with fresh juice from a fruit stand. Ameyoko is full of these oases, like stands and ethnic food stalls, making it wonderful to explore slowly while enjoying street food. (I bought a polo shirt at Tamami that day!)

Fueled by bottled milk, we shopped, casually browsed a shop selling enka music, refreshed ourselves with watermelon juice, and finished at Tsubakiya Coffee. The sheer variety and the feeling of having thoroughly enjoyed ourselves is incredibly appealing. Ameyoko is always 'VIVA☆'.
