FOX UMBRELLAS
In 1868, during the height of Victorian prosperity, Thomas Fox opened an umbrella shop in London. He succeeded in bringing many innovations to umbrella making at the time, such as adopting steel frames for umbrella ribs instead of whalebone, and using nylon material instead of silk. The shop quickly became a purveyor to the British Royal Family and royalty around the world.
The products, which inherit the tradition of handmade craftsmanship, are not only practical but also imbued with a commitment to "how elegant they appear in any situation." They are masterpieces that satisfy the aesthetic sensibilities of British gentlemen who value beauty at all times.
