Founded in 1891. The company established its factory in Limoges, France, a region with a rich history in leather tanning and processing. In 1922, the founder's son established a boutique in Paris, naming the brand after Weston, near Boston, USA, where he learned the Goodyear welting technique.

Since then, J.M. Weston has carved out its history as a brand representing French elegance. Among its offerings, the "Golf" stands out as a Derby shoe that is both elegant and active, symbolizing the maison.

The model's name was inspired by the legendary golfer brothers, Aubrey and Percy Boomer, who were always seen wearing J.M. Weston shoes while playing.
