An Innovative Watch with American Spirit

The Tread 1 series from Devon Works is a watch with a completely new concept, displaying time with four "time belts" driven by motors. It was selected as a finalist in the Design & Concept category at the 2010 Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix, an unprecedented achievement for an American watch.


Devon Works was founded in Los Angeles by Scott Devon, the founder of the emerging sports car manufacturer "Devon." The company was born from the concept of developing innovative watches imbued with American spirit, leveraging technologies cultivated in the automotive, aerospace, aviation, and information industries. Drawing inspiration from industrial conveyor belts and motorcycles, it has garnered attention from watch enthusiasts and gadget lovers alike.


The "Tread 1" series utilizes a reinforced belt, just 0.05mm thick, activated and controlled by a microprocessor. "Nylon Time Belts" rotate to display hours, minutes, and seconds. The crown in the center of the case manages operational control, and wireless charging ensures stable operation at all times. A key feature is that it is the only American watch to use its own in-house developed movement.
