Vol. 15: Lightweight Coats for a Spring Breeze
Yusuke“With the arrival of spring, we hear news of the first spring winds. While the rising temperatures bring a sense of spring, the cold often returns unexpectedly, leaving us shivering in lighter clothes. Add to that the airborne irritants like pollen, PM2.5, and cold viruses, and a lightweight coat becomes essential. We need protection from all kinds of winds: strong winds, cold winds, gales, headwinds.”
For this selection, we prioritized lightweight materials that catch the breeze. We’ve chosen two types: thin materials like nylon, and classic cotton. The silhouettes are loose and enveloping, reflecting the current mood. We paid attention to the profile from the side and the look from behind. The beauty of a coat – how it moves and flows with the wind when worn – was a major selection criterion.
At the turn of the season, we all want a coat that says, ‘Just put this on and you’re good to go!’ regardless of what’s underneath. The appeal of a coat lies in its ability to complete a look on its own, rather than relying on combinations. Please enjoy this curated lineup, designed to help you embrace the gentle spring breeze.”
