Shops are already displaying spring collections, and the new season is just around the corner. Let's lift our spirits, even if the weather keeps us bundled up!

Yusuke“This time, I’m featuring open-collared ‘short-sleeved shirts.’ While it might feel a bit early in the season, with pollen already here to make us feel gloomy, I wanted to lift my spirits with some cheerful, tropical items. With that in mind, I’ve chosen seven pieces.”
However, it’s still too cold to wear a short-sleeved shirt on its own. So, I’ve coordinated T-shirts under all the shirts. By layering with a T-shirt that has a unique twist, I think you can enjoy a different look than simply wearing the shirt by itself.
Especially this season, rather than a perfectly matched, neat layer, a slightly more unconventional, nuanced styling approach is more interesting. Graphic x graphic, pattern x pattern, stripes x floral – combinations that might seem mismatched at first glance are actually fresh. The key to styling seems to lie in the subtle matching of the shirt and T-shirt.
I think it’s best to wear the shirt as if it were a jacket, over a printed T-shirt. For layering, sizes with slightly longer sleeves and wider cuffs are ideal.
