Tomoki“For the past three years or so, I’ve been very interested in Jonathan W. Anderson. He became the creative director of Loewe, runs his own brand, and has been generating a lot of buzz by collaborating with Uniqlo this fall. He’s young and talented, of course, but what’s great is that he’s also good-looking. While it’s not necessary for all creators to be beautiful, having beautiful people create beautiful clothes is wonderful for enhancing the dreams and aspirations associated with fashion.

In fact, many of the items he designs have a unique charm. These pants from his namesake brand have pockets on the side, and their silhouette is closer to baggy than flared. The patchwork-like design, created with interesting prints and fabric combinations, makes them a unique pair. While a plain navy version of the same design might be more practical for everyday wear, both offer a voluminous and elegant pant experience.

Baggy pants can be harder to style than flare pants, and often require a certain height to look right. Shorter individuals might find themselves looking overwhelmed by the garment.
