Hankyu MEN'S TOKYO Autumn/Winter Collection Starts July 18 (Wed)!
Regarding this season's men's trends, Seijiro Hokashi, buyer at Hankyu MEN'S TOKYO, states, "Classic items like jackets and coats are becoming even more prominent." He elaborates, "The major trend is a powerful silhouette with voluminous shoulders and a cinched waist. On the other hand, we're also seeing relaxed styles featuring knits and jackets made from wool and mouton. Materials like velvet and tweed were also noticeable."

The theme "SENTIMENTAL REBELLION" translates to "sentimental rebellion." It proposes new styling by adding modern rock tastes to noble, orthodox suits, jackets, and coat styles with a classic atmosphere. Furthermore, "SUPER ORDINARY" signifies "superior ordinary," proposing fresh styling that adds contemporary elements by expressing the warmth of knit materials and cashmere based on natural colors like gray and khaki, and incorporating functionality and practicality.
Hokashi notes, "This season, I'm paying attention to the classic trend seen in Milan with Prada's new silhouette suits and Dolce & Gabbana's coat styles, as well as the fresh punk-formal styles from Lanvin's wide-shouldered coats and Thom Browne in Paris. Additionally, the military influence, represented by Umit Benan, is showing signs of revival in some areas, and we're focusing on new brands like Carven and Acne."
Don't miss the "Hankyu MEN'S TOKYO exclusive items" such as Dolce & Gabbana's velvet jacket set-up, Tom Ford's wide-leg suit, Jil Sander's whale knit, Lanvin's wide-shouldered coat, Dsquared2's leather jacket, Neil Barrett's coat, Martin Margiela's denim three-piece suit, Carven's set-up, and Damir Doma's wool jacket!
