Capsule Collection Unveiled at London Collections: Men

BEAMS has made its debut at the official London Collections: Men schedule for Autumn/Winter 2016-17, in collaboration with MR PORTER.COM, the London-based men's fashion e-commerce site. As a new project to showcase Japanese quality to the world, six Japanese brands were selected and presented in a presentation format.

Curating "Japan Quality" for Global Attention

BEAMS' new project, "Limited Japanese Capsule Collection," comprises a curated selection of superb brands that embody both skill and sensibility, including Japan's renowned processing, sewing, and manufacturing ethos. The special collection, exclusively sold on MR PORTER.COM, is composed of six brands selected with BEAMS' unique aesthetic eye: ALOYE, TEATORA, MARVY JAMOKE, KICS DOCUMENT., SASQUATCHFABRIX., and orSlow.

Ahead of this launch, BEAMS participated for the first time in London Collections: Men Autumn/Winter 2016-17, which has just concluded. Over two days, they presented their work in a presentation format, broadcasting Japanese quality to the world.

On the first day, January 8th, the Limited Japanese Capsule Collection was presented. The following day, the 9th, an installation was held featuring "REMI RELIEF" and "BEAMS PLUS," already familiar on MR PORTER.COM, along with BEAMS' new lines launched this spring under the "BEAMS TEAM JAPAN" project. The Limited Japanese Capsule Collection has been available for purchase on MR PORTER.COM since January 12th.
