American Brands' First Collaboration!

Manhattan Portage and Woolrich®. Both are reputable casual brands representing America. The two have collaborated to release unprecedented bags. This is also a first for Manhattan Portage, with a limited release scheduled for October.

As you may know, Woolrich® is a historic American outdoor and fabric brand with over 180 years of history. Its story began in 1830 when John Rich founded America's first wool mill in Pennsylvania. It is also known as America's oldest outdoor brand. Since its founding, the brand has been renowned for its high quality and functionality, with its excellence spreading by word of mouth. Its achievements, including the production of military uniforms and cold-weather workwear for the Alaska Pipeline, have earned high praise.

For this collaboration, Manhattan Portage has combined high-density Cordura® 1000 nylon with warm, American-made Woolrich® buffalo check wool. The buffalo check is known as Woolrich®'s iconic pattern.

The main body features an original woven tag depicting Woolrich®'s iconic "sheep." The lineup includes two popular shoulder bag sizes, a waist bag, and a tote bag (exclusive to directly managed stores), totaling four models.

These will be versatile additions to this autumn's outdoor styles, classic looks, and more.

Also New This October: A Glossy Quilted Series!

In addition to the Woolrich® collaboration, a smooth and glossy nylon quilted series will be released in October as part of the limited collection for Fall 2011.

Characterized by a classic quilting applied to a design with strong casual appeal. The glossy nylon material with quilted design, in subdued colors, makes these items a perfect match for smart, adult casual styles. Available in black and navy. The materials are a combination of Cordura® 1000 nylon and quilted nylon. The models include two types of shoulder bags and a waist bag.
