Clothing Gifts Can Be Highly Effective If They Match the Recipient's Taste

You seemed to be carefully examining the men's items...

Receiving or giving clothes as a gift presupposes a certain level of intimacy. And guessing the right size can be quite tricky. But conversely, I think it's truly wonderful to receive something that fits perfectly. I chose these items while thinking about what would make me happy.

Indeed, the impact of a gift seems to be high.

Wouldn't denim be the prime example of that? After all, you can't really know until you try them on. This time, I chose these two items as something a bit easier to try.

First, the shirt.

I like white shirts and own many of them. They are a staple item, but they can also be a focal point of an outfit. For example, you can wear it under a black knit, showing just the collar, or just a bit of the hem peeking out. I envision using a white shirt as an accent color. This white shirt (2. Shirt with bead embroidery, ¥27,300)has a bit of embroidery, giving it a sense of flair and specialness.

Wouldn't it be suitable for a party?

You can wear it everyday, and it also works for casual gatherings. It's a gift that's particularly fitting for this time of year.

I see. Next, could you tell us why you chose this jacket?

Thisjacket (1. Peak lapel jacket / ¥78,750)features a design that truly embodies the DIESEL brand. And I believe it's a jacket that can be "used" effectively in various outfits. If a girl were to choose this for me, she'd have to be quite sophisticated.

This also seems versatile.

I myself tend to wear jackets often... This jacket, while having a basic quality that allows for everyday wear, also possesses a certain modernity. It pairs well with a T-shirt, a white shirt, or a knit.

You've also selected two gifts for women.

Thisshirt dress (3. Sequin-embellished shirt dress / ¥28,350)was chosen for its special, non-everyday feel as a gift. The collar is adorned with numerous sequins, giving it a luxurious appearance, yet it's surprisingly affordable at just over ¥20,000, offering excellent value.

The overall design is also simple.

It's black, so I think it's an easy-to-wear item. It works not only for casual occasions but also for dressing down formal wear. It also has a seasonal feel, perfect for the holiday season. You could even add a faux fur scarf to it. Timeliness is also an important factor when choosing a gift.

The women's items were decided quite smoothly.

After all, it's nice to have a sense of surprise when opening the box, with a certain visual impact. This bag (4. Studded handbag / ¥40,950)is something girls can always use more of, and I think they'd be happy to receive different types. Bags also have a certain physical presence, making for a visually impressive gift.

I'm now tempted to try giving clothes as a gift.

Of course, gifts vary greatly depending on the occasion and the relationship between the individuals, but if you have a close partner, I highly recommend trying to give clothes as a gift. While finding the exact size might be challenging... give it a go!

Thank you very much.
