Reviving a Heritage Brand

Produced by MACKINTOSH, a leading British brand, Traditional Weatherwear offers a charming, casual take on traditional British style.
The collection features a rich selection of everyday essentials, including quilted jackets, coats, shirts, and sweatshirts.
Traditional Weatherwear is a captivating brand that lets you enjoy authentic British style in a casual way.

The brand name itself is a revival of a heritage brand that was once the former name of the MACKINTOSH company. The designs are reimagined from past histories and archives, and even the labels are based on original designs from that era, demonstrating how much MACKINTOSH cherishes this name.

Introducing Traditional Weatherwear SHIRT

While the range of lightweight apparel—including shirts, cut-and-sews, polo shirts, and bottoms—has expanded season after season, this season sees the debut of a sub-brand under the name "Traditional Weatherwear Shirt," offering new ways to wear "trad."

Notable items include British-made marine border jersey, seersucker shorts, and Liberty print shirts with delicate floral patterns.

The theme for Spring/Summer 2010 is "Authentic Rainwear, Returning to Our Roots." Various outerwear pieces were created using a unique, crisp British nylon material traditionally used for classic raincoats.

The Autumn/Winter 2009 season, themed "British Country Style," utilized fabrics and materials evoking Britain, such as tweed, melton, and corduroy, resulting in a collection that felt warm and nostalgic yet sophisticated.
