GUCCI has launched "Gucci Viaggio," a new collection of luggage and travel accessories.
With 87 years of history, renowned for its leather goods crafted by skilled artisans and their uncompromising quality, GUCCI is also known as one of the world's leading luggage manufacturers. This new collection, created by Creative Director Frida Giannini, leverages GUCCI's exceptional luggage-making expertise while offering a contemporary interpretation that meets the demands of today's busy traveler.

Computer Case ¥51,450

Business Brief ¥189,000

This groundbreaking collection, made from durable high-tech resin, is the ultimate line, combining sophisticated style with practicality.
The "Gucci Viaggio" collection includes semi-hard trolley cases with a glossy finish, garment bags, and briefcases. These travel luggage pieces are lightweight yet durable, exuding urban elegance, perfectly fulfilling the needs of the modern traveler. Each item features a stylish form, while GUCCI's classic details add a unique personality to the design.

For example, the GG logo, one of GUCCI's signature symbols, is applied in rubber to the top of each luggage piece, and the signature logo is subtly used on the wheels of the carry-on bags. Alongside coated black canvas, this new collection also features canvas with the original GG pattern throughout. The GG logo originated from the initials of Guccio Gucci, the founder of GUCCI, who started his business in Florence, Italy, in 1921.

"When traveling, one wants stylish and chic luggage with perfect functionality. 'Gucci Viaggio' is a unique collection that meets these two needs simultaneously," says Creative Director Frida Giannini.

BRAND HISTORY
GUCCI began in 1921 when founder Guccio Gucci opened a workshop and shop specializing in leather goods in Florence, Italy. Its refined sensibility, aesthetic, and the skillful craftsmanship of Tuscan artisans were supported by European aristocracy and celebrities, leading to its growth as a brand that captivated sophisticated clientele.

Among its iconic symbols, the Bamboo, Horsebit, Web, and GG logo are beloved by celebrities worldwide and continue to be used in various items today.

In 2006, Frida Giannini was appointed Creative Director overseeing the entire GUCCI brand. Under her direction, GUCCI has returned to its true roots, infusing its icons with new life and a contemporary edge.

GUCCI offers products such as leather goods, shoes, apparel, silk products, watches, and jewelry, adhering to uncompromising craftsmanship, exceptional quality, and the "Made in Italy" ethos.
