Intrigued by the Rules of Ivy Style: The Fundamentals

For this 『CICATA』 08-09 Autumn/Winter collection, I drew inspiration from the American Ivy style of the 1950s and 60s, reinterpreting it with a pop sensibility that reflects my own sense of British traditionalism, creating a "Clean & Pop" worldview.

My interest in Ivy style was sparked by fashion magazines from the late 70s, but as I was still a child, I wasn't aware of the actual trends of the time.
I've arranged the rules of Ivy, such as the buckle on trousers and hook vents on jackets—elements of menswear archives—in the CICATA style, bringing together a refined Ivy aesthetic.


The chino pants, which will soon be available at rumors, are made from a fabric that is a faithful reproduction of the material used in 『CICATA』's first chino pant model. It's a rare and hard-to-find chino cloth.

When worn and washed repeatedly, they will conform to your body shape, allowing you to enjoy a vintage texture.
The 『CICATA』 08-09 Autumn/Winter collection will be delivered from July onwards. Please visit the stores to see them in person and enjoy styling for the new season. We plan to gradually increase the number of items available at rumors as well.
